A brilliant photograph of Max Atienza and Anacleto Lacanilao, the main indigenous leadership of FEBC Philippines in the early years. The photo appears to have been taken in the old administration building. The quality of the photo (Ektachrome) suggests it was taken by Byrd Brunemeier. The slide scanned is the original.

An address given at the dedication of the Bocaue "extension." One of the problems of archiving research is that color transparencies often bear dates that do not reflect the actual date of the image. The date stamped on this mount indicates 1960. However, the dedication of the Bocaue facility was in 1958. Transparency dates only indicate the date of processing. Some slides are duplicates of the original.

DZAS tower under construction in 1950. Close examination of this transparency reveals that the construction boom is severely twisted, and a nearby tower girder is bent. On May 9 of this year, at the 75 foot level, the collapsing boom narrowly missed Byrd Brunemier, hitting a plank on which he was standing. Unfortunately, the boom rebounded, delivering a fatal blow to hired rigger Matring de Leon.

Unidentified staff hold an "artist's conception" of the CRCM administration building. The transparency itself is marked "1949." The actual date of the drawing is put at late 1947 or early 1948 because 1)the first building was started in the first half if 1948 and 2)"KZAS" was the original call sign, used only in 1948. See #321 for a closeup of the plan. See #324 for a view of the completed complex.
