Men from a Philippine mountain tribe pose with their weapons. The photo suggests the men have discovered that posing for tourists is a good business. The "School Zone" sign suggests the scene is not far from a major highway, possibly on the road to Baguio in the "Bontoc" region.

There is no question that the DZAS tower was FEBC's most photographed icon. Here the 300 foot tower is viewed from one of the short wave masts, looking southward toward Manila. The bucolic countryside with its mango trees and rice paddies are still evident. Photo dated Nov. 12, 1951.
