The event is not certain, posibly a baptismal service or groundbreaking for a new church. Indications on the slide frame suggest that this is a group of believers in the barrio near FEBC as a result of listening to the broadcasts, or possibly personal contact with staff. Present are staff members Max Atienza (addressing the group), and Anacleto Lacanilao (middle, head bowed). Also, Enyong del Rosario stands in line second from the right.

Philippine mountain (Bontoc) tribespeople. FEBC worked with many missionary agencies to provide broadcasting for many of these people groups, using "PM" radios. The origin of this and similar photos in the FEBC collection is not certain. This series of photos (902-905) are from a set of transparencies marked "H.I." The year is often discerned by the type of Kodak slide mountings.
