Aerial view of CRCM’s 12 acres. The DZAS antenna sports a "hat," intended to increase the radiated power of the signal. Most short wave antennas have been dismantled and transferred to the new Bocaue site. The organized layout of the trees in the central portion are in fact an orchard laid out by the pre-war owner, and include Santol, Mabolo, Chico, Guava, Balambing, Star Apple, Mango and Casoy (Cashew) trees. FEBC made every effort to preserve the orchard and laid out many of the buildings in such a way to avoid removal of trees. [A publicity photo with a built-in label].

The Philippine carabao was the main "farm vehicle" until hand-held motor-driven tractors were introduced by the Japanese in the 1970's. Among southeast Asian water buffaloes, the carabao was the largest and sported magnificent horns. In later years, the size of the animals diminished.

Neil Weber at the studio controls in Korat, Thailand. On the wall is a photo of the Paul Johnson family (see #1448). Paul, with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, was instrumental in the establishment of the studio. He and his wife Priscilla were murdered in Ban Dong Mafai by bandits in April of 1952; fellow missionaries rallied around the deaths and began construction of a memorial studio in Korat. (See set 6 - Paul Johnson/Korat Studio for additional details.)

A "PM Club" follow up meeting takes place with standing room only. The radio hangs from the window. An unidentified musician performs with trumpet and accordion simultaneously! The white-shirted men are undoubtedly ministers ready to share the gospel. The location is uncertain, but appears to be a rural barrio.
