The tenth annual Boy Scout World Jamboree was held on Mt. Makiling, Laguna Province, Philippines in 1959. Over 12,000 scouts attended. FEBC covered the event, and also distributed PM radios to Philippine scout chaplains so they could listen to DZAS during the jamboree! In this photo, Rev. Isabelo Montejo, PM director, poses with the chaplains.. In back, middle, is DZAS staff member Justino Lacanilao.

William D. "Billy" Reames and an FEBC-Okinawa (Naha) staff member (Matsukawa-san?) at a ceremony probably marking the opening of KSDX (Japanese language AM service). Others identifiable in the photo are Robert Kellum (behind Mr. Reames) and David Wilkinson (right). U.S. military chaplains were avid supporters of FEBC's KSAB because of its spiritual ministry to U.S. servicemen in Okinawa.

The John and Florence Lin family portrait in about 1960. Children: Becky, Jim and Peter. John and Florence were pioneers for FEBC in the development, establishment, and operation of FEBC-Chinese operations in Okinawa, Hong Kong, Singapore and USA.

1959 Lins join FEBC officially as missionaries.
1960 Hong Kong, serve as PR representatives in FEBC office there.
1960-1969 Okinawa: Maintenance engineer, business manager and eventually Executive Director.
1970-1974 Hong Kong Executive Director.
1976 Whittier/La Mirada. Help in development of Saipan operation.
1977-1987 Singapore: Executive Director.
1988-2001 USA: Founder and Executive Director of FEBC Chinese Ministries, USA.
