2006   English plaque on Shanghai Grace Church. The church was, in pre-PRC days, [Southern] "Baptist." The denominational word was apparently dropped when it came under the TSPM and served as a "public" church. More modern plaques in Chinese, however, seem to have reinstated it. A letter sent from Grace's radio technician to John Broger in 1947 uses the address of "375 Seymour Rd," its pre-PRC name. (See #00164).
