1952   Dr. Doug Pennoyer of Biola University provided this digital image of an original which is in the possession of his parents. His parents were New Tribes Mission missionaries in the Mount Pinatubo region of the Philippines in the 1950's. The Aytas were more commonly called "negritos" for their "afro" style hair and dark skin. New Tribes cooperated with FEBC in the distribution of radio sets in tribal areas.
