1948   House-girls' living quarters on the CRCM compound. One of the attractive features to local workers forr FEBC was the provision of accommodations, a real benefit for those who had come from the Provinces. Expat missionaries needed the extra help to cope with the unfamiliar requirements of living in the tropics, including the purchase of food and other goods at the local shops which required good bargaining skills.
