2002   DYVS (Bacolod) serves a wide area in Negros Occidental, including its 14 "centrals," or sugar mills. At this particular mill, a radio pretuned to DYVS was installed in the workers' dormitory by its manager (see #241). The result of this and other evangelization efforts was that a large number of the 3000 workers became dedicated Christians. Their work ethic so radically improved that this mill repeatedly exceeded all the other mills in production by a wide margin.
