Note: "Nguon Song" or "Spring of Life" is the name of Vietnamese broadcast on the FEBC Radio.
From Mr. L.X.P., Ho Chi Minh City
I was so excited to receive your letter today that I am replying to you right away. I thank God for giving me a job for more than a year now. That is why I have been too busy to write to you. I work with some foreigners so I am unable to listen to Nguon Song in the office. I still go to worship God every week. My family still gives me a hard time, but I am still able to attend church. These days, I am unable to listen to Nguon Song, so I would really like it if you could send me the tapes weekly. Do you have worship songs on cassette tape? If so, I would like to order some. Please pray that my mother may soon be saved. P.S. Please send me the materials on Marriage and Family. Thank you.
From Mrs. N.T.N.H., Tien Giang
I received your letter, and am replying immediately. I have already received 3 volumes of Marriage and Family lessons. Recently, I became ill and was hospitalized. Since then, I have been living at a different house, and have been unable to listen to Nguon Song here. So I was very happy to know that you have not forgotten me, and still sent me the materials.
From Mr. H.C.T., Dong Thap
I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior during Christmas 1998. I was very happy to get to know the Lord and worship Him. Did you know that when I prayed to accept Christ at the church, my heart was filled with joy? Before that, I was afraid that my mother would be upset with me. I was going to go home and ask her permission before accepting Christ. But thank God that I experienced His love for me. One of my friends introduced me to the Nguon Song program. Ever since then, not only has Jesus been my friend and heavenly Father, Nguon Song has also helped me to grow closer to Him and understand Him better. When I learned about Nguon Song, I was very glad, and believed in the Truth even more. After that my mother and both of my younger siblings also became Christians. However, my grandmother, aunts and uncles have pressured my mother to abandon her faith. Could you please try to help me obtain a copy of the New Testament in the new translation? I would also appreciate materials you may have about how to witness to others about Christ. I have one question about the Bible, if you could please explain it to me. “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” What does that mean? A number of pastors in Viet Nam have explained it to me, but I still don’t understand.
From Miss. N.M., Vung Tau (via e-mail)
I regularly listen to your broadcast. However, I don’t understand why every night at 8:45, there is a lot of static, and it becomes very difficult to hear. There are a lot of noises that sound like ambulance sirens. Through your program, I am glad to have been able to hear some English words, because there are some names in the Bible that I couldn’t figure out how to pronounce. If possible, please send me some English stories via e-mail. It would be very nice to be able to read them. I thank you in advance.
From Miss L.T.T.T., (via e-mail)
(08/22/01)Every night, I really enjoy having a peaceful time to listen to God’s Word through Nguon Song. I pray that God will always give you peace and good health. Before this, we received your Marriage Preparation lessons via e-mail. There were 3 volumes on Becoming One. Tonight, I listened to your Marriage Preparation broadcast, and heard the lesson on the Husband’s Role in Marriage. Please send me this lesson also. Thank you very much.
(08/24/01) Thank you very much for sending me Marriage Preparation lessons #5, 6 and 7. We received them without a problem. We are going to print them out, make a lot of copies, and share them with our friends in church. Yes, we are very busy preparing for our wedding, and our new home. We are going to move out on our own, because our parents’ homes are crowded. Please remember us in your prayers. Thank you Nguon Song. P.S. Please send me lesson #4, so that I can share the complete set with my friends.
From Mr. D.T.C., Ha Noi (via e-mail)
I am a Nguon Song listener. I’m sorry it took me so long to write to you. I am well, and my job is good. I still listen to Nguon Song, but not as regularly, because my workplace is far from home. It is often difficult to find your station. Sometimes I hear it very faintly. I still live in God’s love, and apply His Word in my daily life and job to glorify His Name. May God give the entire Nguon Song staff good health and happiness.
From Mr. N.D.D., Nha Trang (via e-mail)
Greetings to you in Jesus Christ’s love. I have sent you a letter to the office in Manila, but have not yet received a reply. May I suggest that you announce your e-mail address over the air, so that many other listeners might know what it is. Please send me the “Noah” lesson from the “Who’s Who in the Bible” series, which was broadcast on Tuesday, August 14, 2001. I sincerely thank you. May God bless you in a special way.
From Ms. N.T.X.L., Da Nang (via e-mail)
Thank you very much for the materials you have sent to me. I have received the “Marriage Preparation” lessons #2 and #3. If possible, please send me other lessons as well. Concerning the music tapes, would it be better they were hand carried to Vietnam?

Even though it has been a long time since I’ve written to you, I was very glad to receive your letter. I received the English Bible that you sent as a gift to me. Thank you. May God always help your ministry grow and expand, and may He give the staff good health. I am really looking forward to your reply, either by e-mail or through the post office. Miss M.H. and myself listen to your broadcasts regularly.
From Mr. T.V.V., Ho Chi Minh City
I am a Christian who listens to Nguon Song every day. I have been a Christian for 4 years now, but I am handicapped, and it is very difficult for me to walk. Thus, I have been unable to serve God. I have been listening to Nguon Song for some time now, thanks to a friend introducing your program to me. I have grown in spiritual matters. I know how to love my neighbor, and help others according to their needs. Please send me a Bible and hymnal set. I long for a motorcycle especially equipped for handicapped people as a means of transportation. I hope you can help me.
From Mr. L.V.C., Gia Lai
