1. From LVAL - via e-mail, Quy Nhon
I am a college student at Quy Nhon University. I have
listened to your programming over the radio and the
internet. The program has been very beneficial to my
spiritual life. I was wondering if I could have some
resources on Youth and Christian Living, current Youth
Issues and some material relating to Children's
ministry. Currently I am leading the children's
ministry in Quy Nhon's Church. I just wish I had
more resources. I have prayed that God would help me
and I hope that you would answer this prayer.
Christian students in Vietnam are very active. The
problem is, we do not have a strong fellowship and few
leaders. Because of that, many people have left the
faith, ran after money and fame. This situation is
affecting many churches and it hurts us to see our
young people go this path. Please have a special
programming focused on college students and their
issues so that we can learn and be encouraged.
Recently there have been many heretical teachings that
had caused some to be unstable and others to stumble
in their faith. We are awaiting the help of Nguon
Song.
2. From VDH - via e-mail
I thank God that He has allowed me to discover your
website. I hope you, by God's love, would provide
me with material regarding our Lord Jesus Christ so
that my faith can grow as I continue to serve Him.
Looking forward to receiving your assistance.
3. From PP - via e-mail
I used to be a Buddhist. Through the witness of a
woman named Hang, I have accepted Christ October 5th,
2004. When I read the Bible, there are some passages
that I don't understand. But today, God has given
me a computer and by God's grace, I found Nguon
Song's broadcast over the internet six months ago.
I listen to sermons everyday. Sermons on 'the
Vineyard Owner,' 'the Life of Joseph,' and
'Bible Reading with Commentary,' had really helped
me. I always share what I learned to people who have
just accepted Christ like me. I read Lev. 11:3-46 and
I have no clue what it means. Can you help me? I'm
very grateful to all of you who work with Nguon Song.
May God bless you with His peace and health so that
you can preach the gospel to many people, that they
would believe in Him, and grow in the faith. By the
way, I really enjoy listening to the Bible reading
when the two men read. It is very clear and touching.
4. From LMH - via e-mail
I enjoy writing to you. Writing letters doesn't
only strengthen the relationship between listeners and
the station, but it helps me feel closer to you. I
appreciate the fact that you have new programming
every year and that we are able to be kept updated
with current events. Your programming is also very
beneficial to all the people in Vietnam. Concerning
the quality of your frequency, on 6/22/06 I was able
to pick up your signal over the radio waves. Today,
its quality is still strong, with out any distortion.
Thank-you.
5. From PHT - via e-mail, Hai Phong
We are a small group of Christians in Hai Phong.
Thank God that your programming on the internet has
benefited our spiritual lives in a great way. May God
bless you unlimitedly in your ministry. I do have a
question regarding tithing. We know that tithing in
the Old Testament was a law. In the early church, how
did people tithe, and how should the church of today
tithe? Please give us your instruction. Thank you.
6. From TLQ - via e-mail, Binh Thuan
1st e-mail:
I am a new listener to your programming. I want to
become a child of God. In the past, my family went to
church, but now they don't go any more. This
saddens me. When I listen to Nguon Song to learn
about God, my father yelled at me and both my parents
don't want me to listen to your programming. This
saddens me even more. Please pray for me. Thank-you.
2nd e-mail:
Thank you for your encouragement. I will continually
trust in God. Please continue to pray for me. May
God bless you.
7. From NGB - via e-mail
Do you have any resource talking about salvation for
children? If there are some available, please send me
some. Thank you and may God bless you.
8. From DBL - via e-mail
Hoping that you would continue to send me Bible study
resources.
9. From MT - via e-mail, Da Nang
I am a Christian and a college student in Da Nang. I
would like to join the Nguon Song Team and write
programming. Please let me know how I can do this.
10. From TT - via e-mail
I love listening to the Women's Programming and
also 'Basic Christianity.' I hope to receive your
resources. May God continue to bless you and your
ministry so that Nguon Song would continue to
strengthen the faith of His children in Vietnam.
11. From DL - Via e-mail, Australia
I was wondering if I could get permission to download
your programming. Please let me know. Thank-you.
12. From UTG - Via e-mail
I really would like to thank Nguon Song for helping me
in reading and studying God's Word. I have accepted
Christ as my Savior for a year now. I have also
studied basic doctrine in the Old and New Testament.
When I was in high school, I heard about Christ
through my Catholic friends. When I went to college,
I finally learned about protestants. I was wondering
if the God of the Catholics and our God are the same.
Why in the Old Testament, God was called
'Jehovah'? I am in a baptismal class in
preparation for my baptism. How does a baptism work?
I have never witnessed a baptism service.
13. From HD - Ho Chi Minh City
I have been a listener of your programming for a long
time now, but I have not be able to listen
consistently for many reasons. Since Christmas 2005,
I have been able to listen to your program both in the
mornings and evenings. With my old age, all I can do
is listen to God's Word through sermons in order to
remember His Word. Each time I listen to Nguon Song,
I would take notes. If I had a cassette tape, I would
record the programming, but it would not be complete.
Recently, there was one evening when I tuned into your
station, I heard a siren-like noise and went on
throughout the programming. I would shut off my radio
after 15 minutes and try to turn it back on again.
The same sound continued. I was wondering if you
could send me a copy of the song, 'Xin Cho Con Biet
Lang Nghe.' I would like to make copies of this
song and your programming schedules so that people in
my small group could listen and follow along with the
words. I have been listening to your programming
called, 'Shelter in Life,' 'Basic
Christianity,' and 'Meditating on the Word.'
Could you send me a copies of these lessons? Thank
you.
14. From BLT - Binh Thuan
We are from the Cham people, living in Binh Thuan.
For many generations, we have never heard of salvation
in Christ. Almost all of us have fallen astray into
the darkness of the world. But ever since the Holy
Spirit opened the eyes of our hearts, a few of us have
come to salvation and accepted Christ as our personal
Savior. With the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we
have lived a life that glorifies God. Since we are in
the minority, we are facing the unbearable power of
darkness and have found ourselves in a difficult
battle to shine God's light in our community.
However, God has allowed us to stand firm. We long to
be a witness for Christ to bring the Cham people into
His kingdom. We are uniting our hearts to pray that
God would have mercy on us and that He would open the
doors for us to preach the gospel more freely. Thank
God that FEBC has many people who are dedicated to
winning lost souls through preaching the gospel in
different dialects. We wish that our Cham people
could listen to the good news through FEBC as well.
We pray that God would bless FEBC Ministry and that it
would continue to grow. We hope that in the future,
there would be programming for Cham people from your
broadcast.
15. From DVT - Binh Thuan
For a while now, I wanted to listen to God's Word
through Nguon song but I do not own a radio. Now I
have received a radio from Nguon Song, I would like to
thank God and the benefactor for giving me this radio.
This gift has helped me study God's Word and grow
in my faith. May God bless your ministry.
16. From HD - Ho Chi Minh City (2nd letter)
Thirty years ago, I was a devout Buddhist. But this
belief did not meet my needs so I looked for another
faith. One day I heard a pastor preach a powerful
sermon. It touched my heart so I accepted Christ as
my Lord and Savior for about nine years now. I have
the privilege to learn God's Word through Sunday
School every week. Every week there is a quiz and I
really enjoy it. I go to two different churches on
Sunday to worship God and listen to His word. I pray
three times a day asking God to teach me, help me
understand and memorize His Word and to remember hymns
and other songs that are sung in church. This year I
am 80 years old, my memory is fading, learning hymns
are difficult, but I am blessed and am thankful to God
for what I have. I'm thankful that God has given
me a pocket sized radio. I just happened to turn it
on and Nguon Song's Broadcast came up. I was so
excited that I listened all the way until the end of
the program. Then I started dinner. Thank God that
He has given me a 4th radio that allows me to listen
to Nguon Song and other stations clearly. And now I
would listen to my radio until 10 PM before I start my
dinner. I record each session so that I can listen to
it again. As for the quality of the broadcast, at
times it is perfectly clear. At other times, I
can't hear a thing. At times I want to catch the
broadcast at 5 AM, but I miss it because I get home
from church late the night before. The other day, I
was able to listen 'Science and Faith,' and I
heard about vong tron xuat hien tren ruong lua.
Please send me copies of your broadcast so that I can
read it again and give it to my friends in my small
group.
