On behalf of a number of Pastors serving in Vietnam, we would like to welcome FEBC new President. We pray that God will give him strength and wisdom as he takes on this great responsibility. We thank God for the ministry of FEBC and are very grateful to you all. God has used your organization in a wonderful way to bring the Good News to those who would other wise never hear it. Your ministry also nurtures us Christians in the Word, as well as gives encouragement to those who are going through trials because of their faith. One of the proofs that the Holy Spirit is blessing your ministry is the fact that there were almost 200 thousand Hmong people come to faith in Christ during the past years. And then many Hmong Christians would go out and share their faith to the Dao( Yao/Mien) people. Today, there are many Dao people who have become Christians through the witness of the Hmong Christians and by listening to FEBC broadcast. We understand that FEBC is going through some tough time financially, we will stand behind you and will be praying for you.
Mr. N.D.K., Ho Chi Minh City
My first word to you is that God will give to each one of you, who is on the Vietnamese staff of FEBC, grace, peace and love to carry on the task of proclaiming the Good News of Salvation to all people in the world. I sincerely thank you for writing to me even though I have not corresponded with you for a long time. I just got married, and although life in our marriage is a struggle, we accept it and hope that we can overcome it. Since the time you replaced a new transmitter, the signal is much better. It is clear, strong and without static. The broadcasts can be heard more easily and much more clearly comparing to what it was before. I hope that I will be able to listen to your programs regularly to learn God’s Word and to know the signs of the end time so that I can prepare myself and be ready when Christ returns.
Mr. N.D.K., Ho Chi Minh City (second letter)
May I share my heart with you in this letter? I hope that you would be able to help me with something that I have been longing for. I had a 9-band radio but and it had been broken. I tried to have it fixed but it didn’t work. I then purchased a new small radio but it didn’t work very well. I traded it in for a bigger one it still didn’t work very well. When I tried to listen to your broadcasts, I got the static and noise mixed in with your voices. Since I cannot afford a good shortwave radio, I wonder if you could provide me one so that I can listen to your programs more easily. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Mr. Y.M., Ho Chi Minh City
I praise God because in Him we are brothers and sisters of one family. It is also because of God’s love that we can sing praises to His Name and live in contentment. May the Lord give you all special strength to do His work and to win many souls for Him. Your radio ministry is much needed here, it benefits the church and helps further the Kingdom of God. Being a college student, I join a Christian College Group in our school. A friend of mine, who is also a member of the group, shared with us that she and her parents were Buddhists for many years. One day as they turned on their radio and happened to hear FEBC Vietnamese broadcast. From that time on, though being brought up in Buddhist faith, my friend continued to listen to the Christian broadcast whenever she could. And not for long, she came to faith in Christ in spite of her family’s opposition. Now, praise to God, her whole family have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Thank you for writing to me; please forgive me for not writing to you sooner. I need to study more the Word of God and to be trained for ministry, please send me any material that you think would be helpful to me. Thanks for your help. I’ll be looking forward to receive your gifts.
Mr. N.V.C., Bac Giang
Thank you very much for writing to me and allowing me to share my heart with you. I was very glad to receive your letter. I thank God for He has answered my prayers, allowing me to hear His Word through Nguon Song broadcast. I hope that Nguon Song will always be my father and mentor who teaches me the Word of God, help me be matured in the faith. I said that because I know your ministry has good impact on the listeners. You help them grow in their love for God and become effective witnesses for Christ. Thank you for sending me the material on “Faith Illustrated” #1, and “Basic Christianity” #1. Because of some reason however, as of today I have not received these lessons. If they are still available, could you send them to me once more? I would also like to read about how and when FEBC was established, and how large is the scope of your ministry today. May God be with you and multiply your work so that more people will hear the Gospel and come to faith in Christ.
Miss N.T.P.C., Dong Thap
With joy and a grateful heart I thank you for writing to me. Some time ago, from your Listener’s Mailbag program I learned that you have sent me some lessons on marriage and family, but until now I have not received them. I did not receive any material you sent me before either. Just to let you know. I pray that God will give you grace and wisdom to carry on the task He has given you.
Mr. Y.P., Lam Dong
I am very happy to receive your letter. I thank God for allowing my letter to reach you safely. Your letter touched my heart deeply, thank you for thinking of our tribal churches and of my family. We are in a situation that we really need to remain in Christ, as the branches need to remain in the vine. We also need a lot of prayers from you. Please pray that I will have enough financial support to attend the Bible School that has been recently re-opened.
Miss D.T.H., Tam Ky
I was so happy when I received your mail, because I was able to hold in my hands the two precious lessons you sent me: “Faith Illustrated” and “Streams in the Desert.” Not only that but you also sent me some postage so I can write back to you. Thank you very much. Since the day I left my home to go to college, I did not have many chances to listen to your program. That’s why I need your printed material much more than before. Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning or starving because I do not take in enough the Word of God. I still go to church to worship but the church is very far from where I live. Please pray that God will provide a way for me to be able to hear His Word through your broadcast again. Thank you.
Miss T.T.X.L., Ben Tre
Greetings to Nguon Song Radio! I am a Christian, born in a Christian family. My family worships at a small church in Son Hoa, Ben Tre. I have had the privilege of listening to Nguon Song broadcast for many years. In recent years your signal has been very good, the sound is clear. However, for the past several days, for some reasons, I could not locate your signal on my dial. Please give me a program guide, so I can follow and listen to your broadcast more easily. I would like to request the lessons from the Marriage and Family as well as Women programs for the past three months, which are December 2003, January and February of 2004. Please send these lessons via e-mail because it’s more difficult to receive mail through the post office. Thank you. May God give you strength and grace to serve Him.

I have received 8 lessons from the “Women of the Bible” series. Thank you very much.
I also thank Nguon Song Staff for preaching the Good News and teaching God’s Word to His children. At the beginning I listened to your program just out of curiosity and for the relief of my homesickness. After listening for a while I found your broadcast very interesting and beneficial, with a great variety of programs to meet the needs of the listeners. Each program has its own value. I think some listeners would like to hear your teaching on marriage and family life. Others would like to learn about science and life. Your programs are like a banquet table, with many kinds of food, and everyone can choose whatever he likes to fit his taste and need. Some of my friends have this to say about your broadcast: “Nguon Song radio program is like a great banquet table, with a great variety of food and they are all good. If someone likes to eat every thing on the table, he can do that. It’s good for him, one way or another. Once again, thank you so much for providing us with wonderful spiritual nourishment.
