1. Mr. D.A.D., Lam Dong

Today I am writing you with some worry in my heart because I don't know if my letter will ever reach you. I have sent you four letters and yet never get a reply from you. This is my fifth letter. Anyway, thank you for sending me the year 2000 Calendar. It is beautiful. I've been listening regularly to your broadcast in the morning, from 6:15 to 7:15. For many years, your programs are spiritual food for my soul. It has given me much encouragement and comfort. It also strengthens my faith. Now I can say strongly clearly that this radio ministry is from God, with the power of the Holy Spirit, because it can meet the need of so many people. I believe that every one of your programs is being sealed by the power of God, because when I listen to it, I am being nurtured and encouraged. When I asked those who listen to your broadcasts, they said the same thing about your broadcast. A friend of mine, once said, "When I had a problem in my daily life or a special need concerning my faith, I just listened to Nguon Song broadcasts, and I would find the answer to my problem or my need was met in a special way. It's really amazing!" When I talked to Catholic friends, I learned that many of them also listen to Nguon Song and very enjoy it. I'm not writing all these to flatter you or anything, I just want to give you some facts about the impact of your work, to encourage you, servants of God. You are serving God faithfully day in day out and we really appreciate it. May God's grace be upon each one of you even more abundantly.

Your message last Sunday morning was terrific, I enjoyed it so much, thank you. Now I cannot re-write what I have written in the other letters, but I just want you all to know that I love you and are very grateful for your radio ministry. It would be nice if I could have a picture of you all. Do you ever go back to Vietnam? If you do, please stop by my hometown. I wish that I could meet you in person some day. By the way, I would like to ask for the Nguon Song Songbook, I also hope that I will receive your reply soon.

2. Mr. D.T.A., Ho Chi Minh City

One evening, I think it was Easter Sunday evening, while looking for the BBC, I came across your station and heard your broadcast. Out of curiosity, I listened until the end of the broadcast. Since the message that day was about the suffering and death of Christ, it was very interesting to me and I really enjoyed it. But after that day, I had to leave my hometown to look for a job in a big city to support my family, therefore I could not listen to your broadcast anymore. Although it is sad that I could not listen to your program again, I was encouraged to write when the announcer gave out his address and said that whoever would like to receive some literature to learn more about God can write to him. So here is my letter, I would like to request a copy of the Bible and the story about Joseph and his brothers. I will be looking forward to receiving the Bible and the storybook. On Wednesday, June 20, I listened to your program "Words of Hope" which talked about a Mother's faith. My heart was deeply touched with that sermon and I would like to hear it again. Praise God, my son and his wife also heard that sermon. I hope that one of these days my son will return to God and his wife will accept Christ as her personal Savior. Thank you for a wonderful message. I believe as God said: "... So is my word that goes out from my mouth, it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I send it" (Isaiah 55:11), and that God's Word will bear fruit in the lives of my children some day.

I am a freshman in college. My family lives in Binh Thuan but I am attending a college in Binh Duong. I thank God that since the day I got this radio to listen to your programs, my faith has grown tremendously. Through the power of God's Word, I was able to stand against many temptations. I am staying in an apartment with six other young men about my age. They enjoy drinking, smoking and gambling but thank God, with His help, I am able to stay away from all of that. Please remember me in your prayers, thank you.

Since the day I contacted you, I received only three letters from you, along with some printed material. In your most recent letter, you mentioned that some booklets had been sent to me but until today I have not received it yet. Then I wrote to you again but did not hear my name mentioned in the Listener's Mailbag program. Today, I am writing to you once more, requesting lessons from the Marriage Preparation class and a copy of the following songs, ... I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Once again, thank you so much for sending me the book "Peace with God" and two booklets on marriage and family. Thank you also for trying your best to make sure I'd receive the material you sent, by using two different addresses. I think from now on, when I would request Bible lessons or some books please use one of those addresses. I think I will receive them with no problem. May God bless you and your ministry abundantly.

It was a dream come true when I received your parcel that consists of a letter, some stamps, a program guide and the lesson on Eve, from the program "Women of the Bible." Thank you for the valuable gifts. After I wrote to you last time, I took my radio along when I went to work in the farm, and someone stole it. I'm sorry that now I cannot listen to your broadcast anymore, I will try to purchase another one soon. I like to listen to your program "Basic Christianity." I will make copies of the lesson that I received to share with other members of my church. I'd like to request some more material but I am afraid that it will cost you too much. About the stamps you gave, I don't think I can use it, but may I keep it just for souvenir? There are not enough Bibles here for us to use. Most of the time we can only share or recite Bible verses from memory and by words of mouth. For example, in the lesson on Eve, one of the women in the Bible, you listed verses from the book of Genesis, II Corinthians, I Timothy, etc. But since we have no Bible we could not look for these verses. I would also like to request the lesson on Mari, the mother of Jesus. Thank you for your help.

I am a non-believer and a college student, majored in English. Although I have a very busy schedule, after I learned about your broadcast, I have been trying to listen to it every evening. A friend of mine also listens with me, especially from 9 to 9:30 in the evening. My heart was touched when I listened to your program, especially when you mentioned about God's love for the world and I would like to know more about Him. It would be easier for us students to listen to your broadcast if it would be aired at a later hour in the evening, perhaps my wish is also the wishes of many others, since most people have to go to work early in the morning. I would like to request a copy of the Bible in English because I am learning English in school. I hope that you will help me to know more about God so that some day I will become His child also. Thank you for your help.

I thank God that He is using Nguon Song Radio Ministry in a mighty way, to bring His Word to our people in Vietnam, especially to the areas where the Word of God is scarce or never heard of. During a visit to Vietnam recently, I met a young man who said that he has come to faith after listening to a sermon in Nguon Song radio program. Praise the Lord! Hue is a city filled with idolatry and its people are known for being antagonistic toward Christianity, but now the Spirit of God is at work among these people. Within five weeks, there're 30 people who came to faith in Christ, and the church is greatly encouraged by this. Please pray for these new believers that they will grow strong in their faith. We're also praying that God will anoint your ministry and be with each one of you so that you will have His wisdom in proclaiming His Word daily over the radio airwaves.

One day, a friend of mine and I accidentally tuned to your station and heard your broadcast. Since we enjoyed it so much, we continued to listen for about four months. My parents could not afford to buy a radio so I have been going over to this friend, who lives next door, every time I want to listen to your program. After a while, his parents wouldn't let him listen to your broadcast anymore, so for about two months we could not listen to you at all. Fortunately, now my friend's parents have to go visit their own parents so the two of us are able to listen to your teaching again. However, your signal is not very strong these days, there are so much interference from other stations. Today we're able to get your address so we can write to you. Please send us a program guide. I wish to have a radio and a Bible of my own so I could listen to your broadcast every day and learn about God. If you could give me a Bible I would be grateful to you all. May God bless your ministry always.
