I am very happy and thankful that you have sent me a Sony radio. I received it through pastor NDL. God’s Word through Nguon Song is much needed spiritual food for me and other Christians in Vietnam, especially for those believers who live far from church with no means of transportation over tough terrain. These people have heard God’s Word every day through Nguon Song programs and have grown in their faith. For me, I have been listening to Nguon Song over the past few years and have grown deeper in my faith. My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and I take time to witness to people in our area and during that time, we always tell people about Nguon Song and give out copies of your programming. We have been praying for Nguon Song consistently. Just recently, we have set our Friday nights to pray for the task of evangelism and Nguon Song’s Ministries so that God’s Word would be spread and that many people will come to know Christ. Just recently, through your programming, two families have come to know Christ and are still attending our church to this day. All in all, may God pour out His blessing on each of Nguon Song Staff.

I was very happy to receive your letter, but since I had to study for the upcoming exams, I was not able to write earlier. I wanted to let you know that I have received the letter and the lessons that you sent to me, and I would like to say “thank-you very much.” I hope that you will continue to send following lessons. Besides, I would also like to have the following lessons: A Mother’s Influence on her Son and Marriage Preparation, part 1. This coming June, I will be taking my final exams. Please pray for me.

I would like to thank God (and you) for giving me a section of the book The Pilgrims Progress over the last few months. These materials are like road signs on my journey of life as a pilgrim on the road to heaven. Thank you for sacrificing your expenses and taking your time to encourage me through your letters. I consistently listen to the messages from your pastors over Nguon Song Radio. Your teaching is very rich and makes perfect sense. I also enjoy listening to the Christian music on your program as well. Please send me some of your songs. Thank you.

4. Mr. NVT, Ho Chi Minh City

These days I was not able to listen to Nguon Song Program on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings due to the fact that my church has been having evangelistic programs and prayer meetings on those days. My Pastor asked me about Nguon Song Program, so I told him about the programming. Unfortunately I did not have any program guide to give to him at that moment. If you have the program guide, please send me several copies so that I could give it to my Pastor and fellow believers. These days the frequency on SW 31 meter band is good. Only once in a while, I receive static from the waves. Last night (April 18) there was no station ID. Please remind those who are responsible regarding this matter.

I am touched that you still remember me by sending me letters. Please continue to bring the Word of God to us and the following generations. If we hear God’s Word daily through Nguon Song and follow His teachings, in midst of this busy life, we will have peace. Hopefully Nguon Song will continue to come along, side by side, to help us in our daily lives.

Listening to God’s Word everyday has helped me live a better life each day. As a woman, I really enjoy listening to programs such as the women programs and Marriage and Family. I am still single, though I have friends who have encountered conflicts in marriage. Because of that, I would like to have the lessons on Marriage and Family and the women’s programming, in order to help and encourage my friends. God’s Word, broadcasted daily over the air waves, is food for my soul. There are times I feel down, but the songs and messages in your broadcast have encouraged my heart. I am not able to remember all the great things that I have learned in order to share with my friends, so if you could send me the lessons every month, that would be a great blessing. I am from the Churu Tribe and I can speak and write in the Churu dialect, as well as in Vietnamese and English. I am a Christian, and I listen to your program often. Would you show me how to download and print these lessons? I Thank God (and you) for sending these lessons. In my church, there are many young men and women who have reached that stage in life where marriage is the next step, so these lessons are very valuable and much needed for our group. On top of what we have received so far, we would like to receive all of the Marriage Preparation lessons from previous broadcasting up until now (and also in the future). Is that possible? May God bless you, and may your ministry grow and reach more people.

The reason I am writing to you today is because I have heard of Nguon Song on the radio and on the Internet for a while, but because of my busy school schedule and no means to listen to your programming, it wasn’t until last Sunday that I had the chance to listen to your program. It was difficult to find the signal, but I was really pleased when I locked in on the radio waves. And from that, I was able to get the mailing address of your station. Unfortunately, when I locked on to your frequency, the programming was almost over. I was only able to hear the end of one of the Bible Studies. Even though it was just the end of the programming, I loved it. So because of that, I am writing this letter, first and foremost, to thank Nguon Song for such a great program and I would also like to request Nguon Song to send previous programming, since I was not able to hear those great lessons. I thank God that there’re more and more pastors here, in my community, promise to pray for Nguon Song Ministry regularly. They also said that they will tell others about your broadcast, especially non-believers, so that they’ll get to hear the Good News of salvation. I’m waiting to receive the Bible lessons from your broadcast to give to those who have requested them. By the way, would you also send me the lessons from the “Words of Hope” programs? Thank you for your help.

2nd letter

Thank you so much for your quick reply. The other day, I learned that at a house church, in Quang Nam City, after the prayer meeting, a member of the group tune his radio to Nguon Song’s broadcast for the whole group to listen to. This brother has done this every Wednesday evening for some time now, and there are about a dozen of people in the group. It’s really encouraging to hear things like this, isn’t it? Please pray that there will be more and more people who would do the same, to introduce Nguon Song broadcast to other believers and non-believers as well.

The other day, by chance I went to visit a neighbor. As he was listening to Nguon Song program over the radio, I joined him and found out that your broadcast is very interesting. I would like to listen more to your teaching about God and the Bible, but I don’t have a radio and cannot afford to purchase one. If it’s possible, may I ask for a small radio, so that I can listen to your broadcast?

I’m 19 years of age, a junior in high school. I just began to listen to Nguon Song broadcast some time ago, but I really like it. My parents have been Christians long ago. However, because of all of the difficulties of life, they had to move far from the city and thus lost contact with other believers. Now my family is very happy to be able to return to our faith. We now do not have any Bible or Hymn Book. You may not know how happy we were when we learned about your broadcast and your e-mail address. We’re just like sheep that have gone astray and now have found our flocks. We hope to hear from you soon. May God bless you all.
