Note: The following letters are in response to broadcasts in the Northeast Thai language.

"More Precious Than Gold" program:

Hello to the Christian brothers and sisters: I want to firstly thank you for helping all. I love and am so glad that I was born to know Christians and now I want to serve the Lord myself. I don't know how to belong to the Christian religion. I would like to ask for advice from you about this. How can I become a child of God? Please do reply to me at my phone number. May each Christian be blessed.

Mr. Adulchai Nong Khai Province

More Precious Than Gold program:

Hello to all of the broadcast team,

I have read the booklet "Is it true that this life has hope?" that you sent to me. I feel I have started to know God - the one who has had mercy on all in the world and taught them how to know God more. Ever since I was a child, I have thought in my heart that that God is beside me all the time. The more I read of the booklet and listen to the programs, I was sure in my heart of the truth and not confused as before. I began to think in my heart of all the ways that God has helped me so far. I want you to keep this program on for always! Thank you ever so much I will write more in my next letter to the team.

Mr. Miratisaai Sakhon Nakhon Province

There's Still the Dawn program:

Hello dear programmer,

I put the radio on today and heard your program so I am writing to you now. I have a neighbor called Noi who has difficulties. She was just 7 days old when her Mother died and her older sister took care of her. Then Noi married and had her own son. The son was in school for not long when he had a fit and was unable to study any further at all. He is able to help himself with odd jobs now. Noi massages people who have tense muscles and has a small income. I would be so pleased if you have mercy on her and assist her. Thank you.

"Fill Up Your Heart" program

I am someone who loves to follow this program on the station. Yesterday I heard the programmer play a song at the beginning of the program. I can't remember the name of the song, but I remember that I loved it and it gave me courage. I would like to have this song so that I can play it when I have sadness in my life. I have previously written to the program, but I haven't had so much time for writing lately. My husband and I work in a rubber plantation. We have 2 children. My husband and I both now believe in the Living God and we go to Church. I would like for you to pray for our 2 children. They have both had a problem since birth - they cannot speak. We are both so sad about this. The oldest is a girl 14 years and the boy is 7 years old. The eldest has a good personality but the younger one is a bit angry because he can't communicate. Whenever I speak on the phone with anyone, he interrupts me. The girl is in school but the boy went for one day. He was mistreated by others and so didn't go again. All of our relatives say that the problem comes because my husband has left his religion to be a Christian. We have been made to live in a separate house. Every day we have to take insults. What they say about our children makes my heart hurt. I thank the Lord that I have been able to talk with you today and receive encouragement. I and my husband believe strongly in the Lord. We pray and we will not go back into our problems. One day God will show Himself in a miracle according to His will.

Heart Friend program:

Greetings - I am a regular fan member of this program! I love it very much. I have a question…….did Jesus really take away sins? Why did Jesus have to take away the sins of the people? I read this in a book. Auntie please answer me - I will wait for your answer.

Heart Friend program:

Please don't put my letter on the air! I listen every day. I am in deep distress. I want to tell it to someone and you don't even have to reply to me. My husband is very jealous of me even though I am not a pretty person. He doesn't trust me at any time. He doesn't give honour or trust me. I am so sad over this and have lost my feeling for him. I have thought many times that my only way out is to commit suicide, but I then think of my children and what God has taught us. Killing myself would be a bad sin. However, some times I can't help but think this way. Finally, may God take care of you dear programmer and the broadcast team.

Mrs. Chaweewan     Trang Province
