Thailand - July, 2005
FEBC Thailand's radio ministry consists of radio production and distribution to local stations throughout the country. The following letter translations are representative of inquiring listeners.
To the "This Life Has an Answer" program:
My name is Mukda and I am the person who has written once before about my son who had begun to be interested and study about Christianity. I received the booklet you sent. Is it true that there is hope in this life? I would like to ask for another booklet please. I listen regularly to the program and noticed that you said that there is a Bible Correspondence Course. I am interested to study this but I am Buddhist. Can I study? My son has become a Christian and he told me to try believing in God and my life would improve. Finally may you all have good health to keep on making this program with fine content for a long time yet!
Mrs. Mukda Bangkok
To the "More Precious Than Gold" program:
I trust you are well as I am! It's a while since I wrote to you because I have just returned from another province. Thank you, dear programmer, that you encourage me and tell me about Jesus Christ. Thank you to all of the FEBC team that you have helped me to know and understand the lessons and the Bible. The Bible has changed my life - I am so thrilled that I have come to know Jesus Christ and I am happy that God has received me as his child. The Bible is important to me. Your program has many good things for me and others to hear. I thank God that he has this program for us. May God bless the program to have a lot of listeners and keep giving out the Good News of Jesus Christ.

To the "Heart Friend" program
I have started to listen to this "Heart Friend" program regularly ever since my older sister recommended it to me. I have become a Christian through my sister's testimony. I was addicted to amphetamines for 8 years and also alcohol of every kind. I am now free of amphetamines, but I haven't been able to get free from alcohol as yet. I am a brand new Christian and so don't understand a great deal yet. My friends at work have seen my life change and they are interested to go to Church also and want to know about God. I don't know how to speak and give testimony to them, so I would like you to please give me some advice on this. I used to be a hot-headed, angry person but it is improving continually. I also would like a book to read and a Bible because at this time I am borrowing the Bible from my friend each time when I want to read it. I had a family but we have gone our separate ways now and I have one son with me. At this present time I am unable to get off my work on Sunday. Please pray for me to have an opportunity to go to Church. My brain is still a bit muddled at times and so I request you to please pray for me to be free of alcohol, and as I give my testimony to my Mother.
Mrs. W. Saraburi Province
Greetings to all of you! My name is S. and I am in jail already for 8 years now on a murder charge. I have 26 years left of my sentence. The whole time I haven't had any peace or happiness at all. It has been a great sadness for me. Last year I lost my wife, my parents and my children. With everything that has happened it seemed as if God was punishing me more. I tried in myself to accept the truth, but it didn't help me to improve at all. Up until today I am in confused and don't know what to do, so I decided to write a letter to you and request you to please have mercy on me and send me a booklet about God so that I can study and find a light for the path of my life. I believe that God is able to help me. I have decided to study the Bible lessons and to finish the course…….
