Listener Responses from Thailand

June 2007

Note: These excerpts are in response to Isaan broadcasts

Mrs. Lampai in Bangkok

I listen to the "There's Still the Dawn" program. I want to talk over a problem with you. I haven't contacted the program for a long time. My problem is: what can I do to get rid of being bored with living? I know the story of God for a long time and decided to believe in Jesus Christ 2 years ago. After I believed my life was joyful, and I had happiness because I knew I was walking closely with Jesus Christ. I had opportunity to become a member of the local Church. I attended regularly because my work was in the home. After the first year and at the start of the second year, I started work outside the home. I then went to Church very irregularly. I began to feel without aim in life. Now I don't have much work and as I thought about this a lot, I resigned from my position and started working to sew up bags from home again. The boss brings the pieces for me and I sew them together. Now work has reduced and I am again bored with living. What can I do to be free of this feeling? What can I do to have this sense of being worthless leave me.

Ms. Patt in Nong Khai

Hello to all of the FEBC Team! I want to study the Bible with the correspondence course please. I listen to the "There's Still the Dawn" program and am very interested to study so that I can have knowledge about new things. And I also want to have booklets to read too. I am a person who loves to read - it really doesn't matter what kind of books. I love the program and the programmer with a comfortable style of speaking and it's also enjoyable fun at times too. I haven't listened for very long so far but my interest to study the Bible has grown, so that's why I've written to request this from you. How many lessons are there? Sometimes the signal at my place is not so clear. However, I plan to keep following as best I can each day.
