Heart Friend program:

I have received the booklet now and want to thank you very much. I have believed in Jesus Christ now and would like to ask some further questions. I would like to go to Church and I don't really know how I should conduct myself there now that I am a Christian as I have never been to a Church before. I have decided to go to Baan Mee Church because it's only 5 km from my home. Truthfully I have investigated Christianity for about 20 years but have just now made my decision to believe in Jesus Christ on the 8th May. At present I have some relatives who are against my believing, but I have firmly decided to believe. I listen to the program every day, Thank you for the programmer and all of the radio team for the booklets and for a program which is most encouraging.

Hello to the program! I have great sadness of heart. I am 22 years old. My parents are hired out workers to do what is available. I have had a dream since I was a child that I would be able to do higher studies, but I had to leave school early and work. I have now studied at adult education. My Mother keeps asking why do I study - wasn't the earlier studies enough? I don't argue with my Mother but it breaks my heart when she says that. I hide and cry where I'm not seen because I think it means my Mother doesn't love me. In Dec 2005 our home went with the tsunami, there was nothing left at all. But I was so happy that people came to help us and gave encouragement. Some foreigners came and taught English language. I was so pleased to study with them and I had happiness because what I was now doing was following my dreams! And I received 50,000 baht also which I decided to keep towards studies in university, but my Father asked for it to build a new house. I didn't know what to do. Father has never asked me what I want to do and that was my hope and dream, but I did understand my Father, and that we needed a home to live in. So I have been hiring myself out to work in a garden for a small 180 baht daily wage to save for my studies. I applied to the university in 2006 thinking that I would study and work at the same time. I had saved 30,000 baht for my studies and it went when my aunt suggested I invest it in shares…..so I was cheated and now cannot study and am very stressed and tense. There's no-one I can counsel with. Thank you for this program and for reading my letter and understanding. It helps to be able to share my sorrow, because I have been at my wits end for a long time now and haven't told it to anyone. Thank you truly! Perhaps my dream is not too far in the distance!

Hello to Auntie and all the programming team! I have loved listening to your program ever since the first day I heard it on the radio. I have listened almost the whole time since then. I was a young girl then, but now I am married. I have a lovely family with 2 small children. They are both girls - one is 5 years old and the youngest only 4 months old. But I still listen regularly. I have happiness in listening, and get good ideas from this program. I haven't ever written a letter to you. Actually there was a period of time when I didn't listen and I am quite sorry about that, because I had to go and work as a building laborer in Bangkok. And when I came back to my home I was concerned thinking that the program had stopped. But I found it again and I am so, so happy, because these are the matters I want to hear. I have time to listen as I care for the baby so I have written this first letter to you. Actually, I've never ever written a letter to anyone before. I have written 4 to 5 letters in a book before I finally have this one to send. Those letters were never sent to you. I would like to have the booklet you mentioned please, and a Bible too. Finally, may you stay with this program for a long time.

Dear programmer, I listen to your program every day and it is good! I have just completed my sentence about a month now. I believe that Jesus Christ loves me and has forgiven me. When I was in the N P jail there was Christians coming to teach the Bible every Monday. I prayed and asked to be healed from my seizures when I was studying. And God did that for me. From that time until now 3 years later, and I can now walk, even though I am not normal the same as other people. Now that I am free again, I read the Bible and pray every day. God has given me life. I was released to go home a whole year before the expected time. When I saw my Mother I hugged her and I saw my children. I have to take medicine each day. You may find it a bit hard to read my letter. I am interested in your booklets, but up to you if you will send to me or not. I am studying the Bible and praying each day. I'm not able to work because my legs don't have strength and I fall when I walk. Please keep this program going forever. May God bless you.

Hello to the radio team! I am letting you know that I have received your booklet. I like it a lot. I am 18 years old and I finished high school about 2 years ago. I am applying to do further studies at vocational school. My boyfriend has just died and we will have the cremation this Thursday. He, too, was 18 years old. I am so sad and sorrowful. Why did he have such a short life? He had hemophilia. I want to ask about the truth of merit and fate. And when people die will it be 3 days before they know they are dead! (this is the Thai Buddhist understanding that on the 3rd day a person realizes they are dead and comes back to communicate with those left behind -Ed). I am interested and want to go to a Christian Church. I want to know and learn. Please explain to me about Jesus. And I also want to apply to study the Bible Correspondence Course too. And please may I have another booklet to read as well. Thank you very much.
