Letter to “More Precious Than Gold”
This is my first letter to you – I live in Chaiyaphoom. I am writing to request a booklet please that will give me encouragement. I have believed in Jesus for about 2 years now. I believed because there was a “typhoon” type of problem came into my life and I lost all hope of living. But every time I cried, I prayed and thought of the Living God and plead the Name of Jesus Christ. I asked Him to know about my problems and I was sure that He listened and heard me. I listen to the “More Precious Than Gold” program every day. I also would like to have a book that points and shows the way to walk with God daily so that I can know Jesus more and more. I want to live my life as a Christian. I want to thank you for the ways you have explained to me to know God more and more in my life.
Mr. Chuwit Chaiyaphoom Province
A telephone call from Isan to the “More Precious than Gold” program:
I am someone who regularly listens to your programs and have listened for a long, long time now. I haven’t ever been in touch with you before this though. This is my first contact. While I am phoning through, the program is on air now. It is good clear reception. I am 64 years old and a retired government worker. I was an official for 42 years. The reason for contacting your program is to ask what are the differences between Allah and Jesus Christ? I have studied Buddhism a lot already and find that I can’t follow the precepts as I am supposed to do in the teaching. It’s like a path that passes over my real life and they don’t meet. Please don’t read this in your program – but I do have many questions. When I have clarity, I will choose the religion that I will follow.
