Testimonies from FEBC-Moscow Listeners and Program Hosts
Galina writes:
"I used to consider myself to be an Orthodox believer, but I did not know Christ. One day, after a pastor on FEBC's "live" prayer-line prayed for me, I decided to visit an evangelical church. You gave me the address of the closest evangelical church and I am glad I went there. Now I have a totally different outlook on life. I know that next Sunday I will be in that church again."
Pastor Yakov expresses:
"On Thursday I was a guest on your program, and I mentioned that we have special courses for non-believers. On Sunday I had ten new visitors at my church. One listener, Victor, was especially touched by the lessons. Thank you, FEBC."
Nina tells us:
"In February your pastors prayed for my alcoholic son on your "live" prayer line. Two weeks later, he was much better. I called the prayer line again, and once more asked for prayer. Thousands of FEBC listeners prayed, and since that day my son does not drink any more. It was a real miracle that changed his life. He already found a job. Thank you, dear brothers and sisters. Pray for my son to become a Christian. He is already listening to FEBC."
Telephone call from Vera:
"I've been a smoker for many years, and I've tried to quit many times. I was turning the radio dial, when I found your station. Amazingly, you were talking about my problem. So, I promise to quit smoking tomorrow, April 3. I think this is what God wants me to do, even though I am not a Christian."
Pastor Nikolay:
"I was amazed when our listener, Victoria, called and asked for forgiveness. She used to be one of those angry callers who called us heretics because we are not Orthodox Christians. Victoria said that after months of listening to FEBC she finally accepted the Lord. "I did not know what real Christianity was," she said.'Now I am a child of God.'"
Vyacheslav writes:
"I am not a real Christian. I mean I do not go to church. However, last week I asked you to pray for me. My left side was paralyzed after a stroke. That night, after the prayer, I felt such power, such unusual power in my body! I was able to stand up for the first time in months! Now I feel strength in my hands as well. Now I see that God is real. I don't know why I deserved such mercy, but I am grateful."
Galya writes:
"Dear FEBCers, please accept my small gift of 500 rubles ($16). I see how many people are reached through your ministry, and I want to contribute something, I want to be a part of what God is doing through FEBC here in Moscow."
Response to FEBC station in St. Petersburg, Russia
Galina, a 38-year-old FEBC listener in St. Petersburg writes:
"I listened to your programs every day for the last month. I never heard anything like it in my life: all spiritual mysteries seem so clear to me now. I am interested in the Christian religion, and am looking for deeper meaning in my life. A few months ago I began reading the Bible, but it was very difficult for me to understand. I feel that there is great wisdom in the Bible, but simply cannot grasp it and apply it to my own life. This is why I am so grateful for your programs: they answer my questions. I see how biblical principles are already working in my life. Thank you."
