E S Lee (Daejeon)

During our Prayer of Hope program on Friday 07/15/05, we received a call from Elder Han who had called to share the story of E S Lee and the wonderful work of radio ministry. She especially asked to pray for Lee.

E S Lee is a 60 year old lady who had lost her sight suffering from glaucoma. She was also physically very weak as suffered from many age related illness. To preach the Good News to Lee, Elder Han handed a radio hoping that Lee would listen to it. Out of boredom, Lee started listening to FM 93.9 Mhrzfh, FEBC DaeJeon. She was touched as she listen to the station - she felt peace, something that she couldn't feel listening to secular programs. Lee wanted to know more about Jesus, and she felt that she wanted a prayer after listening to the prayer of hope program. Elder Han called up during the program to help Lee get connected and this became the door of her salvation. Due to the limited time allocated during the program, we promised to visit her after the program.

Pastor Oh and 3 other people from FEBC Daejeon teamed up to visit Lee and on that same day, she happily accepted Jesus.

God's amazing salvation was delivered to her through the work of FEBC. Many people who had gathered at Lee's house witnessed and shared this moment of joy and happiness. We encouraged Lee to keep living in Christ and prayed that God will touch her tired body and soul as she continues to face her struggle with illness. As Lee is unable to physically attend church, she promised to keep her relationship with God by listening to FEBC programs. It is grateful to know that God is saving so many lives through the radio ministry of FEBC.
