HM Gwon (Seoul)

It has taken me a long time to write this letter and I have been hesitant to send it to you. I believe that by the time this letter arrives at FEBC, I might be in heaven with God. I am a 23-year-old woman and have had a dream to become a producer. However, I was recently diagnosed with the last stage of ovarian cancer. When the doctor told me that I would have six more months to live, I did not know what to do or say. At that time, I did not practice any religion so I had nothing to soften my harden heart.

One day I took a taxi without any destination and heard the radio announcer's voice introduce "The Garden of Love" program from FEBC. She said, "If you are going through difficult times or situations, you should thank God". Why should I thank God, I thought, I am dying now, deeply worried and sick inside. As I listened I was both laughing and crying. The taxi driver said, "God knows your heart, hold His hand! I never thought about God but when "The Garden of Love" program introduced God, I took my first step toward Him. That week, I went to church for the first time, bought a Bible and read it through. I do not cry anymore but I am asking God to give me more breath to live for Him. I am glad that I've come to know God through this sickness. It has been hard for me physically the past several months, but these have been the most beautiful days of my life.

I met a woman who has the same disease and might become disappointed if I die. Please tell her that she needs to trust Jesus as her Savior and then she will have real happiness and peace in her life. Thanks to "The Garden of Love" announcer who made a great way for me to know God. I would not have otherwise been able to express my appreciation to the people who have shown their love for me, after I found a new life in Christ. Please keep doing what you are doing.

By the way, I sent several left over blood donation certificates given by the woman who has the same disease. You may give them to whoever is in need. Thank you for the good news of the gospel. I will soon be with Jesus in Heaven.

Hello! I am a young Christian man and a regular listener to the McGee Bible Study program. Thank you for your wonderful teaching in a conversational voice. I am always trying to listen even though I am usually busy with work at the close of office hours. I am beginning to realize that we should learn the real meaning of the Word rather than simply reading the literal translation of the Bible. When I first read the Revelation, it did not make sense at all, but Rev. Kim teaches with words that are easy to understand and even reveals the hidden meaning of the Scripture. I receive the grace of God through your program.

Hello! I listen to 'McGee's Bible Study' during my home commute. I often pull my car off of the road to focus on the program. It is a blessing to have 'McGee's Bible Study'. Today's lesson rebuked me deeply. I had one foot in the world and another in the church. I deceived myself by thinking that I gave my all to Him. God changes my heart and asked me for both feet. He is faithful and wants my full attention. 'McGee's Bible Study' helped me to realize this and to focus on Him.

Shalom!! I listen to 'McGee's Bible Study' on the way home from work. I am nearly overwhelmed by my workload and the responsibilities at home. I feel like I will be continually miserable if I keep going like this. Because my life is depressed, I went to see a psychologist. Then I turned on FEBC and suddenly heard 'McGee's Bible Study'. Rev. Kim talked about fully trusting God and waiting on Him. His message awakened my thoughts and I felt that God knew exactly what I needed to hear at that time. 'McGee's Bible Study' encourages and strengths me through God's Word.
