Javanese Broadcast " I was excited to find program broadcasted in Javanese dialect in FEBC Manila. I did not know that is a Christian broadcast; in fact I should say that I did not like Christian broadcast. And yet, after several times I listen that broadcast, I felt that a lot of things that very useful for me personally as well as for my family. And until now, we always listen to your program. My question is, why was that program entitled "Pangajeng-Ajenging Bawono ?" What is the purpose by that? Whould you be so kind to explain more about Jesus Christ, so that I could understand who He is. And if you would not mind, please send me books, which are very useful for me. May this broadcast be always in tune." (Central Java) Indonesian Broadcast "I am 17 years old and I sit at 3rd Elementary school; so pardon me if my writing is not good enough, but I can read well. I went to Malaysia to work. During my soyourn in Malaysia, I did not attend Church service nor reading bible. Yet, after listening radio broadcast from KFBS Saipan, I read the Bible again and pray. I myself is still in doubt about salvation. Is salvation can be obtained by following a certain religion, by doing good deed or by faith? I wish I could be counseled and do pray for me so that I might be grown up in Christ." (Malaysia) OH …… MY RADIO ……. (What could be done by our listeners when their radio were broken or the FEBC broadcast was not clear enough to listen? Here are some quotes of their letters) "For one year I was not able to listen FEBC broadcast, because my radio set was out of order. And during that time I have to listen from my friend's radio. Unfortunately, he always takes his radio to his office, and if he is at home, he preferred listening other broadcast than FEBC. I am longing to listen to FEBC broadcast and hopefully to have my own radio set. It surprised me that on Christmas day 1999, I got at radio set as Christmas present. I was really happy, because my dream came true, so that I could listen FEBC broadcast as my wish."(Malaysia) "I was very disappointed when there is something that disturbed FEBC broadcasting during it is on air. Impatiently I am going to break it up, but then I hold my anger down, realizing that if I broke my radio set, it means that I loss it. Thank God, that in that moment, I heard announcement from the operator that the problem is not on my radio set, but on the broadcast itself." (East Borneo) "Dear broadcaster, it happened that there was time that very upsetting me, when I try hardly to tune my radio for FEBC program. Sometimes, your broadcast is not clear, or unheard at all. It happened usually in the morning as well as in the afternoon.
