Buginese Program

" Together with my family we all are from Makassar and it has been for a long time that we are staying here in Jakarta. We are very glad when we could have the chance to tune on your broadcasting in the dialect of Makassar, and we are your faithful listener of that program on SW2 – 19m which is being broadcasted through Saipan Island. Everytime we are listening to that broadcasting, our heart is being comforted because your broadcasting let us reminding again to our home-yard there and it also well-treated our forlonging to it. Even I do think, according to my knowledge in Indonesia there is no any other radio station that makes up program broadcasting into the Makassarese/Bugise dialect except the FEBC, therefore I am very salute with the one, managing the radio broadcasting FEBC International who performs the broadcasting into the Makassarese / Bugise dialect next to the other local dialects in Indonesia. I hope, your program could be continually be on air."

Indonesian Language Program

" I have one neighbour who always listen to the sermon broadcasting on radio at every afternoon and they are very serious on listening to it. On one afternoon I join them and accompanied them in listening to the sermon that was broadcasted through that radio. One of the occasions on that sermon I listened to the preacher who had closed his message with these words: "Whosoever wants to receive Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, please put your right hand on your breast." After listening to those words, I immediately put my right hand on my breast, and I left something strange because I belong to Jesus without knowing noting about who Jesus exactly was. That feeling of anxiety grew in my heart, then the other day I went back to visit my neighbour again. For the second time I heard whenever the sermon was closed by the words of the broadcaster as follows: "Whosoever wants to receive Jesus as his Lord and Savior, please go down unto your knees where you are." On that very moment I also knelt down and became the first person in my family who had received Jesus and made the decision to attend the church. I am very glad when at this moment all my family members become Christians. Our whole family want to commit our thankfulness towards YASKI that has performs that broadcasting, so in that way we could be won for the Lord."

"We are very sorry because just now we could response the letter from YASKI these days. That is not done by us by purpose, but because of various difficulties that we are facing with, especially because of the fact that we are staying in a transmigration area, wherever the means of transportation is not just like in the city and it is very difficult to get stamps. Moreover, to receive the package from YASKI it could be prosponed for months. I also want to inform you that the listener's club that we had formed on January 1998 we had divided into two groups. Every club/group has its leader and my wife also involves herself to handle that. From the very beginning we were the ones who are listeners to it, but now we let the whole church member to join listening to the spiritual broadcasting from YASKI. For sure, there are many obstacles because most of them are farmers who are working daily in the field. They are not willing to gather and listening to the broadcasting in the afternoon, because in our village we don't have electricity and at that time they got home surely the night had already fallen down. But we are not hopeless and still trying our best to let them join us in listening to the broadcasting in the morning hours, just then after that they would leave for their fields. Praise the Lord, our efforts have produced success, the broadcasting that has put on air increasingly reinforces our spiritual growth. Please pray for our ministry continually."
