(Hmong from Laos)

This is my first letter that I have written to you. It's wonderful to know that Jesus' love is always the same to those who put their hearts to trust and follow him. I personally want to thank God for giving me the chance to believe in him.

Pastor, I have been listening to your broadcast for years but I have never given my heart to God. Deep I inside my heart I knew that there was and is a God that loves me, but I always had second thoughts about it. Until last year one of my daughters dies without a cause. I was so upset and mad that I was not able to put together my broken life.

I came back to listen to your broadcast again and you mentioned about believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Since then my family has been saved and all have accepted Jesus!

About two months later I had a dream that my daughter's death was caused by evil spirits. They punished her and took her spirit away. I am not sure if that dream was true or not, but my biggest concern is that I wish I would've accepted Jesus Christ earlier. I was hoping that no matter what happened, in the after life I would meet my daughter, but now it is too late.

Where I live there are four Christian families. I am the only person that can read and write so everybody depends on me for scriptures and such. We all listen to your broadcast together but sometimes we can't pick up the signal because our radio is too old. Would you send our believers some money so that we can buy a new one? We plan to buy with our last earnings a water buffalo for plowing our fields. However even that may not be enough. Can you please provide some money for that as well?

Keep on broadcasting the Gospel to us. We have no pastor and you are the only person that we can depend on. Thanks.

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your daily broadcast, which has taught us about God's love. Even we live under the pressure of so much darkness, when we listen to you the light comes back.

I would also like to let you know that I have received the package of literature that you sent me. All of us have really enjoyed listening to the scripture teaching tapes and have read the other books. We thank God for what both you and FEBC are doing to lift our faiths in this time.

Lastly, remember us in your prayers. Right now our government has given us a lot of pressure to end our Christian lives. We trust only in the Lord and ourselves, that we may be guided. Thanks.

(Hmong from Thailand)

I am a church leader. More like a youth pastor since I have to take care of 24 young persons in the school dormitory. I thank God for what you and FEBC are doing to help our Hmong people to reach His kingdom. My family and I are listening to your daily broadcast everyday. Every one of your programs has helped us grow towards Heaven. We thank God for everyday.

My biggest concern to our Hmong people in Thailand is that most of our Hmong people are interested in physical materials. I have seen OMF missionaries copy your sermons and distribute them to different churches. You also sent a lot of your scripture teaching tapes to our Hmong people in Thailand. However when listening to the tapes after a few times, they will record something else on them. When I see things like this, it hurt my heart.

I want to tell you the truth. According to my research our Hmong people in Thailand have not accepted the Lord like one should. They are turning from God's way. All they want is materials to better themselves. A lot of people are absent from Sunday services and go off doing their own things. Pray for us all.

At this time I really want to learn more on how to reach our Hmong people so that I can help them learn about the Lord. If you have any scripture teaching taped for training on this subject I would appreciate some. Keep on sending God's love to us. We need more teaching and more revival in Thailand.

This is my third letter that I have written you. Thank you very much for all of the literature and scripture teaching tapes you have sent me. We live up north in Laos. It's hard for us to contact our Hmong pastor in the capital as it is hard for him to come to visit us.

Because of these difficulties, the daily broadcasts have really helped us to study up on God's word. You are the only radio pastor we trust and hope for. Keep on sending the Gospel to us. We need more teaching and encouragement from you if it is possible to do.

One problem that we are concerned right now is that some cult group from the US has spread their felonious doctrine to many areas that Christians are living. Many people are confused. If you can preach about this on the radio, please be informed to do so.

Many of us Christians have very shallow faith. They claim to be Christians but they still have one foot in the devil's way. Not only pray, but also preach about this as well on the radio.

I have copied all of your scripture teaching tapes and some of your daily programs to distribute to other Christians. Now all of my dual tape decks are not working! Can you send me some support in money to buy another?

We cannot worship God openly right now. Our government has just stated on broadcast that Christianity is no longer allowed in the Laos. Now local policemen and government are monitoring us very closely. We only worship the Lord at the forest and fields. Pray that no matter what will happen to us, that we will always put our faith in the Lord.
