This is the first time I will have written to you. Since many of us do not have the necessary funds to address material to you, not many people from this area would write to YOU.

Despite the success of your program in Burma, life is still somewhat hard. We are planning to build several churches because more and more people are coming to God. Do you have any idea that can help us?

Finally please send me a copy of your version of the Hmong New Testament and a Hmong Hymnbook. I need these materials to teach the congregation and at this time I have very little to work with. Thank You.

I thank God that I have received blessings. Blessing such as scripture teaching tapes and the broadcast-all pertaining to God. Many women really benefit from the wisdom that comes here. We all thank God for His words.

Please pray for the Hmong men, especially the married men because very few men come to church anymore. They don't read God's word and leave the responsibility to the women. What can we do?

Several Hmong men also believe that the Bible is correct in stating that marrying many wives is good. So they go on practicing it and say that the Lord condones it. What should we do?

Please keep these topics current on the program to help us and others like us. Thanks.

I came to know the Lord through your program and am very thankful to God that Jesus died for my sins.

My family has come to know the peace and joy that the Lord can offer to people like me and my family has shown it.

Would you and those at FEBC please pray for us in China. I have a physical wound which hurts and torture me because of my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and does not go away. Please help me keep the faith. Also pray for others who have just come to know the Lord and pray for they will have to face in the days to come. Pray that our government will turn its head and come to know the Lord.

Please help us with a minor problem. See, whenever we try to sing hymns each person seem to sing out of their own tune! Is this way of praise the sin again Him?

Please teach us more on how to sings and to praise the Lord in correct way. So many time we try to agree but just can't.

Finally, if it's not a problem please send me a hymnbook and Hmong New Testament. I'd like one to share and teach to the congregation.

I'm not a Christian however your broadcast will be the thing I miss the most.

Where I live not many people have money to attain a radio and I can't afford one. Even I only listen with my neighbor.

I want to send my thanks to you and everyone at FEBC for the daily broadcast that comes to us. It has opened many people's eyes to a better world.

I have compared the two practical beliefs in Laos used by the Hmong people: Christianity and Spirit Worship. Of the two only Christianity gives hope and only Christianity explains [It] all. It gives me hope and I'm thankful for that.

The reason why many people cannot come to know the Lord here is due to the fact that about 98% of the people are poor and only 2% are rich, which means the rich can own a radio to listen to the broadcast with but those who cannot pay cannot know.

Would you pray for us? The flooding has destroyed crops and don't believe that anyone can pull in profits this year.

If it's possible, please send some money so I can feed my family and that I can get a short-wave radio. Thank You.

At this time we have thirty families of Christians in this village. I am the only woman capable to lead the church group.

My husband had a second wife so I live with the children myself. I thank God that even the communists will not give us problems even with a woman preaching of the Lord.

But I am grateful for the program and have recommended it at all congregational meetings. We have learned many things and we hope that the program stays alive for years to come.

Lastly, We are building a church and need some funds. If you can provide us with some please donate. Thank you.

I am a young man that lives in the Northeast part of Laos. Where we live there is a big congregation but it is run by church leaders and not pastors. But I'd like to thank you personally for the advice on the program. It has touched a great many of our hearts.

I have a friend who was sick and consulted a witch doctor. The witch told him to find a water buffalo and sacrifice it as a food offering to evil spirits. And so it was done.

My friend said that one night he offered the sacrifice and saw a horrible spirit come and eat the offering. My friend stated that [that] is probably why God's word goes against the eating of unclean foods. Because the buffalo meat was very dirty after the event took place. We Christians know how terrible this can be.

Pastor please pray that my friend will eventually know God. After that he wanted to become a Christian. We need your daily broadcast, don't stop.
