(Hmong from North Vietnam) [V-0795-1-P]
This is the second time that I will have written to you. I would like to thank you for answering my questions and for your prayers of my parents. Now thanks to your prayers, they are healed and are healthy. I know that God has really answered my prayers. Because of the outcome of my prayers, this has made me get closer to the Lord.
Because of my faith in Christ, I cannot longer keep my job as a government official. This has bothered me somewhat but I will continue to believe in the Lord in spite of all things that happen to me now, and in the future.
We thank God that through your radio broadcast all of us here in Vietnam we have found salvation. Each day, we depend on your broadcast. You must remember that we have no pastor to lead us, so we rely heavily on your work, broadcast, and through the goodness of Christ.
The persecution is still going on. We need as much support as possible. To have the benefit of having our faith in God, please send us some Hymnbooks, Hmong Bibles and any other literature that may be useful.

I am a single, young man. Your radio broadcast has helped me and is my only friend. As you know, many Hmong children cannot decide to do some things without parental permission. The point that I'm making is that I am ready to believe in Jesus Christ but my parents are not allowing me to do so. Please give me some words of wisdom so I can persuade my parents to come to know Christ and that I have the freedom to choose my religion.
Pastor, why is it that my life is always filled with sadness and loneliness?
Every time it seems that I am falling in love with a girl, the relationship falls apart. This happens with every girl that I meet and the relationship falls apart with heartache and bitterness. Why was I born as such an unlucky man? Several times I have thought about suicide but there's always somebody there to fill my angry heart with hope and that hope comes from you and your wife's radio broadcast. It must be your dedication to serving the Lord.
Please show me what to do. Pray that the Lord would bless me, and that my life will turn for the better.

I am a church leader in a city near the capital of Laos. We have no pastor so the only word of God comes from your radio broadcast.
I thank you and the FEBC staff for helping my spiritual and physical needs. The gift that you have sent me has reached me. Thank You.
My son and my daughter are still not getting along too well. I have decided to' take my daughter out of the hospital home, because the hospital lacks medicine and care. Why is it that I have served the Lord my whole life but nothing right happens to my family?
Would all of you pray that no matter what happens to my family we will continue to follow the Lord and be example to other believers. Thanks.

This is my fourth letter that I have written to you. Thank you very much for all your material that has gotten to me. It helps me and those around me.
Your radio broadcast has also helped us very much to know about the Lord.
Keep on with your work at the broadcast, because in the area we live there are no pastors to direct us. We depend on you and your broadcast.
Please send more Hmong Bibles to us, we want to distribute these Bibles to other believers and we would also like to have a book that would teach our Hmong to read and write so that our people can read and write God's word. We want to learn because not many of us can't read or write, so pray for us. Finally, we just received another Hmong broadcast on frequency on the radio from Manila. Would they be connected to our religion? Part of the broadcast talks about God but most of it is a secular station. The music is totally different from yours so I wonder if we should listen to your station or theirs. Thank You.
(Note: The station mentioned in the letter is a Catholic program that has been on air since early'95. Due to the number of Catholic believers converting to the Protestant faith in Vietnam, the Catholic leaders have developed a program for their believers.)

I am a single man. My parents have passed away for a time now. I stay with my relatives now. I have decided to continue my school in the capital of Laos. Life for me is difficult so everyday I depend on your broadcast for guidance and a way to survive.
During my education, I have also accepted Jesus Christ, Through your radio broadcast and helping the youth I have grown to know our God. Praise the Lord your teachings and encouragement to all of us here.
We really love and enjoy your Christian music, especially your God given voice and music talent. If possible, send me a Christian album of yours.
Finally I just want to tell you that other Hmong people who have requested your tapes have taken them to record secular songs and don't even listen to the message that you have given freely to them. We would like to buy these tapes but the people who have them sell them for really high prices. For the sake of your budget, don't send anymore tapes please. Thanks.

I have been married for three years and I'm 21 years old. My family and I came to know the Lord, Jesus Christ through your broadcast. Since I have accepted Christ, I have started to listen to your program, day and night. Now I 'm the only one person that can lead the church. Several times I have led our church and talked about many things from the spiritual aspect of life and the Bible, but many people tell me I'm wrong though I tell
them that all I learn comes from your broadcast.
One very important thing that I would like to bring up is that the government is still persecuting all of the believers here. They come to the village and beat many people and persecute and fine us. What we have done is put the signs of evil spirits on our doors and houses so the government does not do anything to us.
My question is that should we continue to do this? Should we deceive the government? Should we show them the truth? Should we let the government persecute us?
You live very far from us so you may not know what we face everyday. We suffer very much for believing in the Lord. But we want other people to know that we are Christian. What should we do now? Give us an answer.
Finally, we need Hmong Bibles and Hymnbooks and maybe some other literature. We have no pastor so we depend on you and your broadcast. Thank You.
