The first thing I want to tell you is that I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ through your radio broadcast in 1988. After becoming a Christian, I never missed any of your broadcasts on air.

This month, our local government persecuted all the Christians hard again. It happened because they accused us of having contact with the outside world and having three pastors visit us.

The government fined us, jailed, and made us work very hard without food and water. All these events will not stop our faith. Unfortunately, government officials forced us to disclaim Christ on videotape and promise to stop worshipping him. Some of us no longer worship Christ while other still strongly believe in him. We have done nothing wrong. So, we lied to the government about trying not to worship Christ again but when we got home, we got our Bibles and still encouraged others to believe in Him. We know it is wrong to lie but it is the only way to protect our fellow believers.

If you have any suggestions or words of encouragement, please let us know. Keep on broadcasting because we need your help and guidance. Thanks.

I am a church leader where I live. There are 23 Christian families here. There is no pastor and I am the only one here who is preaching and taking care of the congregation.

I am so thankful that through your broadcast, I have learned many things to help nurture and teach others in many areas. We need your help and encouragement.

At this time, two of my child are very sick. Most of the time, I pray and lift them up to the Lord. Many times I worry and try to find medication for them besides praying. My two kids are now in the central hospital. I have spent a lot of money for all their medication.

Presently, I am out of money. Could you please send some money to me so that it would pay for the medicine? You are my last hope. Please pray and help us in times of needs like this.

May God bless you with good health and strength to help serve the Lord until his return.

I am a church leader in the northern part of Laos. There are 10 Christian families here. I am so happy that we receive your broadcast daily and all have come to know Christ through it.

In 1994, we met every Sunday on a regular basis. We always listened to your broadcast and taught about it again in the church congregation. All of us have grown and matured through your broadcast.

At the end of 1994, we faced many difficulties. The local government forced us to stop our church services. They took all our radios, bibles, hyrnns, scripture teaching tapes and anything that deals with Christianity. Now, we can't have meetings and anything to read. The only thing we can do is listen to your daily broadcast. Keep on broadcasting because all we have left is the radio to listen to. Unfortunately, batteries are very expensive and we can barely afford them.

Recently, I got a letter from an government official who took my radio from me. They said that they would not return my radio but I could buy another one.

I was wondering if you could support us so that we will be able to buy another radio? It would help so that all of us could listen to your broadcasts again.

Please do not send Bibles and Hymnbooks anymore. Our local government officials will not allow it. We'll look for Bibles and Hymnbooks from other churches. What we need is money for a radio.

We need your help and encouragement everyday. We will pray for you so that you will have wisdom and strength from the Lord.

I am a youth leader in our church in the northwest part of Laos. Thank God that your radio broadcast has brought many of us to know the Lord Jesus Christ. Even now many of us depends on what you have taught through your radio.

At this time, I am having difficulty in my Christian walk with Christ because I am the only person in my family who knows Christ. My parents are afraid that my faith in God will destroy their life and make the evil spirit mad, so they forced me move out from my family.

If possible, please provide me with some financial support. I plan to build a house for myself so that I can have a place to live and serve the Lord. The total cost of all the materials will be approximately be around $200.

Finally, please keep broadcasting because we want to learn more about God's word and how to live for him. Thanks again for the previous times that you sent scripture teaching tapes and literatures to me.

I have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ through your radio broadcast. I would like to thank you, FEBC, and the Hmong Christian Staff for telling and helping my family and I to know the Lord. Your literature and tapes have helped my family a lot when we have problems and temptations in our lives. Many times we use your materials to support our faith.

We have never met with any Hmong pastors or church leaders but you will always be our pastor who we can always rely on each day. Keep on broadcasting so that our Hmong people in the Northeast part of Laos can come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

At this time, the situation with the Christians and government is still stable. We don't know what is going to happen to us but please pray that nothing bad will happen to us because we are still babies nurturing in the Lord.

My family, parents, relatives and I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ through your broadcast a year ago. We are so happy and thankful that through God's love, we have found a new life in Him.

Last month, government officials came to our village and arrested all my family members and put us in jail because we were Christians. They said our fault was believing in Christ and disobeying the Laotian government by believing in a Western religion.

After the judgement by the court, I was released along with my father. The rest of my family and other believers are still in jail. What should we do? Because of listening to your radio broadcast, we have ended up in jail. You should be the key person to help us.

Before they release my family, they need us to pay $200.00 (KlSOOOO.00) to pay for court fees. Could you help us? We can only depend on you at this time. Pray that this problem will be solved through God's help. Thanks.
