(Hmong from Laos)
This is my first letter that I have written to you. I am not a believer and Christianity is my number one enemy. I grew up in a society which dictates this story about Jesus: Jesus was the son of God. He and his brother were sent by their father to rule the world, and one day, his brother would come to help the Hmong people come and rule over the world. This brother would ride on a unicorn. When Jesus realizes that his brother has more power than he does, he chops off the unicorn's wings and his brother stays in heaven, while Jesus himself rules the world instead. So their father gets angry at Jesus for doing what he did. The father punishes Jesus by hanging him on a cross to pay for what he did to his brother. That's why Jesus suffered as he did, and whosoever that believes in him will suffer like he did. This is what I hear from all the Hmong teachers and prophets.
But why is it that whenever I listen to what you preach, it's completely different? From what I get, the story is nothing like what the Hmong's teach. When I first heard your broadcast, I really hated it, but now I have come to accept certain principles in my life from the Bible. I am almost ready to accept Jesus as my personal savior and Lord. I don't understand why your programs has a such power to change to negative thinking turn into following the Lord Jesus Christ! Please tell me more and give me more details about how to accept the Lord Jesus Christ. Where I live, Christianity is not permissible but I am willing to believe in Him no matter what happens to me.
If there is any literature or audio tapes that are available, please send them to me. I want to know more about this Lord Jesus Christ on my own. Your daily broadcast has really changed my life and has given my hope with every day. Thanks.

At this particular time, the government in Laos has commanded every Hmong tribe to move away from the mountains and settle onto the plains. Everyone can now grow rice instead of having to cut trees for farming and jobs.
This year many of us have moved to the lower lands. The problem with this is that all of the Christians are now lacking money to buy land and equipment. Would you ask our Christian brothers and sisters throughout the world to see if they can help us out or not?
The other problem with our government is that if we believe in any foreign God, we will not belong to the country. We will have to move out of the country or go to jail.
Pastor, we don't know what to do for our future now. Would you answer us through your broadcast and give us a way to remain faithful to the Lord?
Finally, your broadcasts are our only source of hope and blessing. We are praying that each of your programs will touch our Hmong hearts. Pray for our brothers and sisters here as well as our government.

I want to express my thanks and appreciation to all of you at FEBC for your love, care, and sending God's gift to us in China. I thank God how He changed my life and I am now a new person. Before the change I used to be a drug dealer, gangster, robber, and spread gossip throughout. More than anything. I really hated Christians and would report the locals who claimed to be, to the authorities. I could not believe that there was a God in heaven that created everything and love such a person like myself.
Fortunately, by the middle of the year 1991, I gave up my negative thinking and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I thank God for giving me a second chance to become one of His children. I know I used to be a bad personal that I deserved to go to hell, but his love and grace still offers me the chance to be with Him. I am ready to die for Him and serve Him as my will.
I thank God again for your wonderful ministry that sends the love of Christ to all of us in China. Many villagers where I live now believe in Christ. We need the kind of teaching that you have given to us, to revive the Hmong people's hearts.
Pray that I will remain faithful to the Lord. There have been so many times that questions came up within our faith to the government. Christianity is still restricted in many areas of China. We need all of your prayers and words of encouragement.
Finally, if there anything helpful that you think you can send in our walks with Christ, please sent them. Many of us need to grow spiritually in the Lord. Thanks.

I am a young man and am still single. I thank the Lord for being so gracious to me and that He was able to open His door for me to become one of His children. Through your daily broadcast and believers who have witnessed to me, I have decided to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now I am planning to go to Bible school to become a servant someday. More than that, I also want to serve Him through song and praise. Pray that I will if it is within God's will for me to do those things. Nothing will stop my dreams of serving Him.
My question to you is this: before I became a believer, I learned a lot about Hmong culture - wedding ceremonies, funeral rituals, and the such. Now that I have become a Christian I should not partake in those progressions. However, when people ask me to perform those ceremonies, and I refuse, or I do not drink the ceremonial wine, everyone gets mad at me. Even my relatives! What should I do?
Pray that I will be able to stand for the Lord and witness the love of Christ to them. Thanks.

I am a young man and have been married for four years with one child. We are not believers yet however, I need your help. I do not know why both of us always fight day and night. We don't know how to love one another. We don't know how to forgive each other. Both of us want to be the winners in each fight.
I am wondering if you can send me some of your marital problem counseling tapes. I really want to succeed like others, but how? I have heard your radio broadcast a few times, and I've enjoyed every program. I wish that I could own a radio however and learn from your daily teaching.
Would you also pray that someday my wife and I will come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ? Thanks.
