(Hmong from Laos)
I am a church leader that lives in northwest part of Laos. At this present time, I am pastor eight different churches to teach them the way of Christ. Would you pray for both the churches and I as well? Many of the believers are new and we are faced with physical and spiritual attacks on our faith.
Some good news is that the churches are listening to your broadcast daily to hear what you are teaching. If you have any literature that is possible that I can distribute among them, please include some. I desperately need better transportation to preach rather than going about in a taxi. Please pray that I will save enough money for a motorcycle. Thanks for sending God's love to us all.

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! In September you sent me some scripture teaching tapes and some literature regarding God. These tools have greatly helped me serve the Lord. I have since graduated from Bible college and now I am serving the Lord full time. I want to tell you that your broadcast has helped me gain a lot of insight of Christianity. My wife and I send our blessings to you. Also send my greetings and blessing to FEBC for their help and work with our Hmong in Myanmar. The messages from the Lord have shown that no matter who we are, Hmong or Burmese, rich or poor, educated or not, God loves us all. That is why God sent his only son to save us from our sins. Praise God! Thank you so much for your caring and support for us all.
Where I live there is lack of material sources to learn about God. That is why whenever we receive your scripture teaching tapes, we make as many copies as we can to distribute among other Hmong near or far. Many Hmong have become Christians due to all of your tapes that you have sent to us. If you can send me a complete Hmong Bible it would help me greatly to know about our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you for all of your support and generosity. Thanks.
(Hmong from Vietnam)
I am a church leader living in Vietnam. I just wanted to send my appreciation to all of you at FEBC for sending the love of Christ to all of us here. After listening to your broadcast for several months, my entire family decided to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. There are not a lot of churches around this area, while there are many believers flourishing. So I set out to learn more about God and Christ trying to preach and learn about the ways of Jesus Christ our savior. There are a couple questions that we believers are still not clear about. Please try to answer them for me if you can.
1. Can Christians dance (in the traditional sense)? Many young people still dance in rituals and we are wondering if this is ok or not.
2. Is it okay to smoke Opium? Many believers feel that since the Bible does not say anything about this matter, it's still okay to smoke Opium. However I remind of 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 and chapter 10:31 that the Lord does not allow anything dirty inside the temple (body). Most opium smokers feel that they need a specific example of Opium from the Bible. If no one warns them, these smokers will keep their habits until death.
Last month one of our church leaders decided to preach against Opium. When the believers heard this, they chased him out of the church!
Please address these things to us. Please answer the questions according to what God says in the Bible. So that our believers will quit smoking opium, cigarettes and begin to treat their bodies with more care. Keep on broadcasting. We need the daily broadcasts alive!

Thank you very much for sending a Hmong Bible, hymnbook, and other materials to help us. Each item that has been sent has been very helpful in our walk with God. I just wanted to tell you that after my brother and I accepted Christ we went around the country to preach about the Lord to as much people as we could. At first many people turned us away and refused to let us preach. But soon, little miracles of God began happening. Then the little miracles grew to become large ones. After that they only wanted to hear and know of what God had to offer them. We mainly depend on your daily broadcast to keep our knowledge going.
We thank the Lord for the growing numbers of congregation in our area.
However within the last months the secretary of the party of this area came and forced us all to go back to our old ways of evil spirit worshipping. For those who agreed, they were given rewards and benefits. But to those of us who refused to go back and agreed to accept Christ, we were punished and are still being harassed for believing in Christ. Please pray that no matter what happens, we will be in God's hands.
Keep on encouraging all Hmong people to come to know our Lord, to re-energize our faith and benefit our way of life. Thanks.
