(Hmong from Vietnam)

I am so grateful that through your daily broadcast I have come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord that we live in the mountainous and isolate area but God's word beams to us loud and clear. The language that you speak, we understand. That's why we turn our hearts to follow Christ.

Would both of you pray for us. We have so many young people that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, but we still don't know what our future will be, especially my own life. I want to live life to please the Lord yet I am only a teenager. My family lives every far from the congregation. We only go to join the others once a while for church service. I have very little education and can only write to you. Please pray for us that our lives will be lived to glorify God.

Lastly, if you can please send us some literature so that we can learn more on how to follow Christ please send it to us. I would like my letter to air on the radio more than anything else so that I will have known that my letter has arrived to you. Thanks.

All of my family has come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ through listening to your daily broadcast. After we became Christians, our lives would greatly change for the good. However, my father and one of my older brothers began living their lives differently. Both of them stopped attending church and still smoked opium. They would get drunk and do many other bad things. They enjoyed what they were doing as the rest of the family was still poor.

I want to live for his glory but it seems like things are getting worse. Please pray that God will turn my dad and brothers hearts back to Him again. Your broadcast is the only thing that I can rely on and trust in. Thanks.

(Hmong from Laos)

I am a church leader. My family just moved from Vietnam to Laos. Before saying anything to you, I want to let you know that family and more than fifty others came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ through your daily broadcast. We thank God that He has brought all of us to be His followers.

The reason I brought my family to flee to Laos is because our Hmong officials leader has persecuted us badly. These officials accuse us that Hmong people have no right to believe in Jesus Christ. That Christianity does not belong to Hmong people in Vietnam. That it is a western religion. Also that whoever becomes a citizen of Vietnam has to learn the traditions of the country, including religion. Every time they found us congregating, they would severely beat us. They beat us so badly that we would break our arms, our legs, and they even forced us to drink our own blood that bled by their beatings.

Fifty Christian families got beaten so severely. They threatened that they would torch us until we died if we continued. They told us to go back and practice evil spirit worship.

I sent this letter to you and Christians all over the world that, please pray and do something to save our Christian lives in Vietnam. If it's possible, please pass my letter to the United Nations and human rights, to go to Vietnam and stop this persecution.

This letter is representative of fifty Christian families undergoing persecution. Please do not waste time. Do something to help us physically or every one of us will soon be gone.

Pray for us so we may be able to tell about Christ's love to our enemy. More than anything, keep on sending God's word to encourage all of us. Thanks.

(Hmong from Laos)

This letter is written to let you know that the situation in Laos is very bad right now. All of the churches surrounding the capital were closed and only two churches still remain open for church service.

To tell you the truth, almost 99% of our Hmong Christians living near the capital of Laos have signed an affidavit for denying Christ as Lord and Savior. This is because they have jailed and arrested the rest of us. The choice is to deny Christ or receive Him and go to jail. Our government has told us that Christianity is not allowed in the country of Laos at all.

As a church service leader, I went to prison for a month and they released me. I didn't deny Christ but they told me to stop practicing Christianity as I got out of jail. If they still find me I will go back to prison and pay very heavy fine.

Because of this kind of situation I want to tell you that we no longer have church service. Every one of us has gone astray like goats and cannot be sheep anymore. We lack the love for one another and no one cares anymore.

The future of our Christianity in Laos is in God's hands. God's blessing is no longer with us. Pastor, our hope is in God and in your daily broadcast. Keep on sending His word to us. So many times have I wondered why we have to go through all of this? Wondering if we will have a chance to go to be with Christ in Heaven or not. Please pray for us.

Thanks again for your love gift and prayer support to my family.

When I was 10, I began to listen to your broadcast. I am 23 years old now and I have come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been a believer for 5 years now. I followed Jesus when Christ helped my wife get better from the punishment of an evil spirit. She is well now and has gained back her strength.

I have been arrested because I am a believer. I got put in jail for many months and during that time, I was beat by a Hmong officer until I was unconscious. My nose was bleeding and my face was bruised severely. When I regained consciousness, they tried to force me to drink my own blood. When I refused, they beat me again. It is hard to avoid these situations. Although we want to share with them the love of Jesus Christ, they ignore us and continue to torture us.

My question to you today is when will Christ return to take us home? How can we forgive our persecutors? I pray to Christ to take our enemies far away from us.

Please continue sending God's words to us. We desperately need your help and your daily encouragement.
