Listener Responses - February 1957

The following listener excerpts were published (along with occasional editorial comments) in the February 1957 Far East Broadcaster and/or its accompanying newsletters of the same date.

INDONESIA (translated from Chinese)

"Dear Sirs: Several months ago your station announced that the Lord Jesus had already come to earth. Please may I ask where is Jesus now? Will you please tell me? Later your station broadcast say that the bell (trumpet) had already sounded the third time and that that is the time of the Lord's judgment. Please may I ask where is the Lord now judging the sinful human race? True, the human race has already reached the limit of its sinfulness. Such things as the war in China, the Dutch-Indonesian war, the war in Korea and the war in Indo-China, and other such like conflicts, plus the development of the atom bomb and the hydrogen bomb,— all these things show that human sinfulness is reaching its final stage. So if the world has a Saviour who has come to serve the human race, I feel that I would most surely welcome him. So I am asking your station to inform me as to the whereabouts of His headquarters."

S. V. SUNDAR SINGH, Agriculture Dept Limbang, SARAWAK (Borneo)

"I will be obliged if you can send me your radio program. I am a regular listener to your Sunday broadcast. This the only source of Sunday worship possible in my outstation. May God bless you for the work."
