Topic of the Month - Evangelism and Church Planting
We set up a church of three people
I am 59 years old and converted to Jesus Christ in 1989. In March 1993 my husband and I moved to this city. Under God's guidance, we set up a small church of three people at Christmas 1994. Now we have more than 10 people. Since we are not well educated and lack in deep understanding of God's Word, we have difficulty in evangelizing. We don't have a full-time preacher. As I am the only one who has completed elementary school education, I am obliged to take up the responsibility. I feel that I owe God a lot because I do not know how to interpret His words. After an eye operation, I can't read the Bible. My husband bought me a radio. From then I listen to your broadcast every day. My spiritual life is thus growing and I understand more about the Bible.

I wish I knew our Lord earlier
There are more than hundred believers in my church, with few young brothers. I am willing to do more for the Lord as we lack church workers. In fact I wish I knew our Lord earlier. I feel pain whenever I think of those people who lose their lives without knowing God. I'm especially sad when I remember my father who has passed away unsaved. I do boldly invite and plead with every non-believer to go to church.

I am eager to preach the Gospel
I have been a Christian for four years and am eager to preach the Gospel to my neighbors. Praise the Lord for choosing five elder sisters so far. They have very good testimonies and have been baptized. Four months ago we started to meet regularly, with more than ten participants. God sends an old sister here to pastor us. It takes about thirty minutes' ride to go there. If the old sister can't attend the meeting, I should take over. I feel inadequate and don't know what to share. I am willing to standby and need your help.

The number of church increases from one to twelve
Since I converted to Christ six years ago, I've seen number of converts multiply and number of church increase from one to twelve in our county. The average size of the congregation is about 200. The spiritual revival is indeed God's grace and the result of diligent prayers. Every Thursday night, there's a faithful prayer group fast and pray for our country, for the lost, and for church revival. Many brothers and sisters are effective witnesses. The prosperity of church is also an outcome of their good deeds. There are some young and dedicated believers emerge. As they are going to work in the society of injustice and corruption, they must lay solid foundation of faith. Please send related spiritual literature to help nurturing them.

She was moved and converted
I am aged 26 and live in Shandong. Lately, the gospel has been spread to my place. Since I converted to Christ, I have been listening to your programs such as "Voice of Friendship Seminary". The more I listen to it, the more I am inspired and motivated to work for God. I once preached the Gospel to a colleague. Glory to the Lord that she was moved and converted to Christ.

Our goal is to witness the Lord
Though we are far from each other geographically, our hearts are close, even closer than family members. Because of God's love and grace, a Study Bible has been safely delivered to me. Our church members are equipping ourselves and study the Bible hard. Our goal is to witness the Lord and establish church in those places where the inhabitants have not heard of the Gospel. We plan to go out and work for God. The Lord has entrusted the leading role to me. Please pray that I have the wisdom to lead fellow Christians to do His work well.
