We are retired elderly people

We are retired elderly people. In June 1994, we accepted the gospel and asked God to forgive our sins. In God's name, we knelt down to repent and pledged to serve Him with all our heart, will, and ability. Since then, we always listen to your broadcast and are benefited. With God as head, a small fellowship was formed in 1994. We meet twice a week. During the meeting, a sister reads passages from the Bible and briefly talks about the meaning. Then she leads us in prayer. Because of God's grace, the congregation has been increasing steadily and more of us would like to dedicate our lives to God. Many sisters are willing to offer their home as gathering place. Yet we are too large a group to gather at home. Thank God that a brother offered his new suite to God. Now all of us worship God there every Sunday morning. At night, some gather at a sister's home to study the Bible, pray, and testify for God. God is miraculous because He grants us joy whenever we communicate with Him through hymn-singing and praying. When we feel weary, He gives us patience to endure hardship.

I converted to Jesus Christ in June 1993 and was baptized at Christmas that year. In 1994, I began listening to your programs. I am blessed abundantly by the Bible study programs and always take notes of God's truth. The Lord encourages and challenges me through DAWN China programs especially. In June 1995, He guided me to set up a house church and uses me to lead the congregation. Our meetings are joyful and always filled with the singing of praise hymns. This joy really signifies the love of God among us.

We were motivated by your programs

I have been a Christian for two years. From the first day after I converted, I am your loyal listener. It's a sister from Hainan preach the Gospel to me and it's your broadcast lead me to the truth of God. Through your teaching, I truly know the Creator of this universe. In our remote and mountainous village, few have heard about our omnipotent, wise, and loving Lord. Being motivated by your programs, we formed a church and has congregation of more than thirty now.

Our congregation is growing

I listen to your broadcast every day. It is like the field nourished by rain after long drought or like a baby receiving the goodness of milk. I thank God for bestowing His words on us through air-wave. After listening to your teaching, I have been transformed to a new person. I thank God for the formation of a church at my home recently. The congregation is growing from around ten to thirty people. I thank God and your spiritual nourishment.

A church was formed at my home

Under the guidance of friends and your station, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior a year ago. From then on, I have been listening to your programs and formed a church at my home. The number of congregation has increased from three to about eight people. I used to lead Bible study, hymn singing, and prayer meeting. Unfortunately, there was once doctrinal dispute among us and three brothers thus left. Later two moved to another place and a new one joined. At present, there are only four members altogether. Could you pray to God to revive our church? This is important because there are far too many people worshipping false gods in my town. We are all elderly folks between fifty to seventy years of age. Our faith is very naive and our spiritual lives are weak. I am very worried about this situation. Please help us.
