Topic of the Month - Sharing on Evangelism

They only concern temporal world

I started telling people about Christ and bringing them to church in 1994. Some of them would attend three or four times, but others only went once. Of the 11 people I brought to church, only two accepted Christ. One of them is my classmate who told me he intended to be baptized at Easter. There's no church but a small meeting point in his home town. The Bible says we are to preach the Gospel and to "be ready in season and out of season." Although I brought 11 people to church, most did not stay. They seem to be concerned about money. Some of them cannot attend because of their work schedules and others asked me how much they need to pay in order to join a Protestant church. The younger ones contend that church is for old people. I cried and prayed for each one of them. Why do they only concern temporal world and focus on money only? Please pray for me as well as for these people. May they come to Christ soon.

I always hope that all my good friends will believe in Jesus

I always hope that all my good friends will believe in Jesus. In my first year at university, my room mate and I prepared for an anatomy class we had the next day. We soon found, however, that the structure of the human body was very complicated. It took us much time to memorize the names and order of the blood vessels, nerves and muscles. She began to complain about how difficult this was, but I knew that all of these were the masterpieces of our God. So instead, I took heart and shared the Gospel with her.

I was afraid that I didn't explain the Gospel very well. So I took her to an old brother's home for another conversation. Afterward, she confessed her sins, repented and received Christ as Savior. I also introduced your broadcast to her at this time. I knew that all this was the work of God; without God's mercy, none of us could be saved. Being encouraged by this successful experience, I was even more confident to share the Gospel with others. During the winter holiday, I invited a good friend who had attended junior and senior secondary schools with me to visit my home. I told her how Jesus saved us and gave her a Bible. I hope God will have mercy on her.

I made great efforts to be a DAWN China Knight

By the grace of God, after listening to the program Dawn China, I made great efforts to be a Dawn China Knight. Last year, in response to your special training series, "Home Mission" appeal, we encouraged other believers to share the Gospel with non-believers. To date, our congregation has increase from 60 to 80. Many believers brought their families and friends to God. One Mongolian sister brought her father to church and he immediately accepted the Lord Jesus. Thank God!

They don't know how to begin sharing the Gospel

I received the Personal Evangelism Training Handbook and have read it several times. I found it a valuable set of evangelical materials and I don't want to monopolize this gift. I entered its contents into my computer and intend to print out several copies to share with other brothers and sisters. There are very few materials about how to share the Gospel in Mainland China. During our fellowship, the brothers and sisters talk about how they don't know how to begin sharing the Gospel as well as how to maintain contact with those who refuse their invitations. Listening to the radio programs, especially Dawn China, really helped me a lot.

We organized a prayer group

Thank God who daily adds to the number of those who have been saved! We listen to your gospel broadcast every day and receive food for our spiritual life. After listening to Dawn China, we often go out to share the gospel. A month ago, we organized a prayer group to intercede for those in authority in our country of 1.2 billion souls, as well as for the churches throughout China and your gospel station. The result is very good; the love of the brothers and sisters continue to grow through prayer.

They initially thought we we Falun Gong or villains

We sisters do not need to go to work so we often meet at a park or on the seashore to share the Gospel. Thank God that He inspired some elders and children to come and sing with us. Later, we wanted to talk to two girls about our own age. At first, they were afraid of us and did not respond. Then I presented an evangelical picture and told them that we were not being deceptive. Later, they explained that they were hesitant because they initially thought we were Falungong or villains who trap whoever answers them. They accepted Christ and invited us into their homes. The Falungong incident has hindered the spread of the Gospel and we have met with resistance to the Gospel and to the Lord on several occasions.
